2006 Ford Mustang Ignition Switch Fuse blown

My car cut off while driving. It ended up being the ignition fuse that was blown. What could cause this ?

a wire shorting out for one where the harness may have worn through and rubbed metal to metal . something else drawing to much power. if it doesn't do it for a while don't worry about it.
