My 2006 Explorer started making this clicking noise coming from the vents. It sounds like the blender door malfunctioning. It'll click even when the air/heat is off, and it'll stop when I turn it on. Its quite annoying. Any ideas? Could it be a bad fuse or something?

Great site :-) I use it a bunch

If it has auto temp control, turn the key on, push off and for at the same time, then auto within 2 seconds, the display will show a fan turning, wait until the codes display, write them down and post here.

I don't think it has auto temp control. Its controlled by a dial, thats how you turn it on and all the way left for cold/right for heat.

It sounds like it could be the blend door motor, this is common problem.
