The fuel pressure regulator has bein bypassed is my car safe to drive

The garage found a fault in the fuel pressure regulator so thay by passed it now I dont no if I am safe to drive it or will I be doing more damage

It needs to be replaced its there to control the fuel pressure otherwise you have too much pressure at idle low engine load etc.I dont know why they just wouldnt replace it.

The FPR job is to maintain the fuel pressure at all times-being bypassed will only caused the engine to burn more fuel

I dont no why thay didnt replace it thay charged 229 pound and said it as ok to drive just orried that I would do more damage

Go back and have them replace it-so that you don't have to worry that something might go wrong-
