In cold weather (20F.) My 2006 dodge grand caravans trans. Will start out fine in the morning for the 1st mile or two, then it drops down to 1st gear and stays, when it gets up to 30 to 35F. The tran. Runs fine again. This also happened last winter. I have 2 codesPO700(trans. Malfunction, and PO720(output speed sensor-lowoutput above 15 mph). Do I replace the output speed sensor.

Because it only happens as described, the output sensor would be my first guess. Also, check to make sure there is no corrosion on electrical connections that may affect it in could weather. Check out the diagrams (Below). Please let us know if you need anything else to get the problem fixed.
