Help! I wont pass emissions

2006 chrysler 300 3.5 L
it started with my battery blowing up. Got an error code that says camshaft sensor is not communicating with the crankshaft sensor. I changed both of them to no avail. Now I notice my cruise control dont work. I have to pass emmissions this month. What could it be and how can I check it out inexpensively?

The origin of your problem may be;What caused your battery to blow up? I've never heard of that happening.

If the battery blew up, was it being overcharged? As far as the emissions, what trouble code are you getting?
