Ok I have a 2006 Chevy Uplander that has a thump.

Ok I have a 2006 chevy uplander that has a thump sound comeing from the right rear sounds like the spring is bottomed out when u hit a bump have replace the rear springs with new ones and new shocks twice and still getting the sound just not as bad untill you put some weight in the back any ideas its driving the wife crazy and im not far behind her also has new tires put on when the springs was replaced begaining to thank its the biggest piece of junk I ever bought

It wasn't designed that way and didn't come from the factory that way so you know it can be fixed.

There is a tool you might be able to borrow or rent from an auto parts store that borrows them called the "Chassis Ear". It is a set of six microphones, a switch box, and headphones. You clip the microphones to suspect points, then drive around while listening with the headphones. You can move the microphones around to zero in on the source of the noise. Be aware that many mechanics have never seen or even heard of this tool. Suspension and alignment mechanics use it to find rattles, squeaks, and other noises.
