Transmission hold light blinks and it is not moving forward

The clutches were recently changed the car ran for about 20 minutes the light started to blink again now its not going forward. Also the shifter position seems to overlap meaning when it's in drive it will show neutral and drive. When it's in reverse sometimes it shows neutral too or they all overlap each other. Can you tell me where should I check first? I am thinking shifter linkage since clutches was just changed.

Good evening,

This sounds like the cable for shifting is not adjusted correctly.

I attached a picture for you of the end of the cable under the hood.

You need to put the car in park and make sure you rock the car to be sure it is in park.

Then turn the key to the on position and loosen the nut on the cable and move the cable until the selector in the car reads park. Then lock up the nut and you should be good.
