Eletrical problems

I have an 06 colorado and when I turn the key to start the engine the dash test lights come on but the engine will not crank and battery is good

What about your security system, any lite on or flashing? If the security system isn't applicable, I'd have to check the starter circuit, there are some applicable fuses, check those fuses. In the diagram, the purple wire carries voltage to starter, should be hot with key in the crank position. Any testing make sure the tranny is out of gear and the e-brake is set, block the wheels if needed. You may also have to check feed to and from the clutch switch.
