I am looking into a 2006 Chevy Colorado Extreme 4 door pick up. I am 19 (need somthing cheap on gas and that will make it out camping in the mountains)and as of right now I have a 2000 chrysler neon (time for an upgrade.) So buddy want's to sell me his 06 Chevy Extreme for 14,000 this truck is MINT inside and out. Comes with power everything, cloth seats, a fabric box topper, sprayed in box liner, body kit, sun roof, and he will throw in the new winter tires, and rims, and performance/ summer tires. Unfortunately the truck has 100,000 km on it. I realised I could probably find the same truck for 3 grand less if I looked but I know how this one was driven and it is in great shape. If I offered 10,500 am I being greedy? 14000 seems a little much for me

14 sounds like an average price for this type of truck. However, you should offer what you can afford. I wouldn't expect great MPG from it. If you want, check out KBB. Com for vehicle values. That may help you make a decision. Also, if you know the vehicle and it has been taken care of, that is worth a lot when getting a used vehicle.
