2006 Audi A4 Airconditon

I, ve the unknown problem with my airconditining. In first place when I on the aircon it was cool as normal, while on journey or after sometime the coolness will fade away and warm. I switch off the aircon for few minute and switch on again it's cool again for sometime and repeated as above. Could you please advice me what's actually wrong with my aircon system.

Suspect evaporator icing up. Does air volume from vents lessen also? If yes then evap icing up likely faulty expansion valve or if car has cabin filter see if it is dirty that my cause icing

Yes air volume from vents was lessen too. Could you please tell me where is evaporator icing up located.

A major job so first check cabin filter open hood filter located in air plenum see diagram. Replace filter if dirty
