I have a volkswagon polo 2005 car my engine managemenent light comes on and flashes car slows down what could this be? Would it be anything to do with the heat as it happens when I put it on. The temperature on the dashboard is up at 100 when driving and have you any idea how much it would cost to get fixed?

Flashing engine light usually indicates a misfire.

Don't drive the car while the light is flashing and the engine is running rough.

Have it looked at by a repair shop.

To many items could be the cause. To give you any type of estimate.
