Hi, I have a Toyota Corolla Verso Vvt-i 1.6 T2 (Feb 2005) with no cruise control.
I now want to 'Add' cruise control to my car. Is this something that is possible? Who would be the best people to contact for this?

Hello,

It is possible to add cruise control to your vehicle?
Here are add on cruise control modules can be purchased online from various vendors.
In order to get the module installed you will have to remove the air bag from the steering wheel.
It also requires cutting various trim pieces to fit.
Before getting starter you will have to disconnect the battery.
There are two torx head securing the airbag to the steering wheel, remove them.
You should be able to pull the airbag out of the steering wheel.
Remove the ground wire connector for the horn.
The new module will come with a connector looks just like the factory one but has extra wires. You will have to transfer the factory wire (green) from the connector to the cruise control switch connector.
Then you will have to cut out an opening big enough for the new switch to go in.
Secure the switch to the steering column.
Reconnect the airbag and install the screws and connect the battery.
This will allow you to use the cruise.
