2005 Toyota Avalon wont start

I started the car and turned the defrost on high. About five minutes later got in car and although it was still running the defrost and all dash lights were off. Nothing would come on. I turned car off and now will not start at all. Not even try. Battery?

I would have the battery tested to rule that out. Do the dash lights work.

Nothing works now. But when I turn the key the door open light goes on and dings. But nothing else at all

I would check the battery also make sure the battery cables are clean and tight. Make sure you don't have any blown fuses.
