MY CAR IS TAPPING OR KNOCKING

When my car is on and running while in park it be tapping or knocking could you tell me what you think it is my dad said it might be a lifter in the motor but hes not sure.

If the noise is coming from the upper end of the engine -could be the lifters, might want to open it up and investigate

You can try engine flush and Seafoam on it and see what happens, and also check the oil pressure -

So do I just pour those items in the engine and what about lucas do u think its good to use and will they stop my car from tapping and knocking and stop making the lifter stop sticking
