Metal to metal scraping noise

I have a metal to metal scraping noise that sounds like its coming from the drivers side just by or past the fire wall. Driving me nuts that I cant figure it out. Thanks

It only makes the noise on take off or when stopping. It cant be the brakes I just had them done!

The brake job could have a brake pad in backwards, it happens.

You are so right, I took my car to another shop and the pad was in backwards, nice find! :-)
