Why does my transmission jerk and hesitates?

I have a 05 Nissan Maxima Automatic 3.5 Liter and a few months ago i started having problems with the trans at 110,000/120,000 miles After lots of reading and research I've found that many Nissan owners with the same problem have said that Nissan Had upgraded the valve body in these transmissions to fix the problem. I'm hoping someone with Nissan knowledge can tell me if this is true.
