2000 Nissan Frontier. There is a really bad shake that I am pretty sure is coming from the motor. It happens when I get up to about 45mph and I let off the gas. When I start to accelerate it quits shaking but as soon as I let off the accelerator it begins to shake again. Also the check engine light comes on and when I had the code checked it was a Cylinder #2 misfire. I have recently put new tires and had alignment and so forth checked. Put new spark plugs, wires, rotor, etc. Also checked motor mounts and they seem to be ok.

Is your vehicle model 2000 or 2005?

Is the misfiring code still the same after replacement of the parts concerned?

Having exactly same issue with my 2000 Nissan Frontier 4 cylinder. My code is misfire #1 cylinder. Changed wires, plugs, cap, rotor and had compression check done (it was good). What was the resolution to your issue? Thanks.

Not yet but it is on the list. I am going to check the knock sensor first.
