I think it might be the vacuum lines and I am not sure how to go about tracing them. Is there a place I can download a tracing diagram of the vacuum lines for my car?

Have you checked the system pressure and freon level?

What vacuum are you referring to?

No we have not check those things. And I was referring to vacuum line that I have expierence with in american cars (GM-chevy astro). That solved my problem but I don't even know if the mistubishi has a air vacuum line system at all. Are there other things that could be causing this. This sometimes on anf off thing with the cold and normal air doesn't happen at any proticular time, where we are stopped or not. Sometimes when we axcellerate we may get a change but at others times we don't. Please help. Thank you.

No vacuum lines are used. They are either electrical or cable controlled.

When it does not blow cold, chack if the compressor is running. You would need a system pressure test to find out what is causing the problem.
