05 Mercury Mountaineer gauges drop down to zero

While driving along all the guages will go to zero, lights like seat belt, check engine etc. Will all come one and all the bells start beeping. The radio will go out but doesn't need reset and cruise will still work while. Gauges dropping to 0, replaces battery, rebuilt alternator, checked fuses and wiring.

The check engine light only comes on when this happens it DOES NOT stay on as all the lights come on they do not stay on. We tried to have it scanned and of course it didn't act up then. It could happen 20 times within 5 minutes or go 2-3 days and not act up at all.
