Car was starting to overheat pulled over car stop running. Let car cool down about 5 hours. Added water to radiator. Had to replace radiator. Tried to start car. Engine makes winey noise, will not turn over. Check oil level showed to much oil. While drianing oil water came out and then oil. They was not mixed. Should I do compression test or just get good used engine.

Compression test. Probably a blown head gasket.

Seems the engine had overheated badly and the pistons rings and liners could be badly damaged as well. If a giid used engine is not too expensive, that would be a better idea than rebuilding the engine.

Rebuilding the engine yourself would be fun but getting someone else to do it can cause heart attacks, lol.

True KHLow. I'd NEVER have someone else rebuild an engine of mine, though. Haven't since high school, either.
