Powerlocks an radio does not work

I have an 05 Kia Spectra5 an I was giving my son a jump an I hooked the cables backwards an the vehicle would not start so I checked all the fuses an the relays an they were all good so I pressed the inercha button an the vehicle started but my radio does not work

You are lucky that you did not fry the computer. Computers dont like voltage surges.

It sounds like you blew a fuse. Check all of them with a test light to verify. If not, you may have burned up the lock actuators and radio.
