I have only 20% left on my front brakes, and last time I got my oil changed they said to keep an eye on it. I was wanting to take a trip about 179 miles away. Will they last or do I need to get them replaced? How much would that cost?

If you have 20 percent you should be able to make it to next oil change at least. As far as price goes did they mention you need new rotors?Or are they turnable? Also whats your zip code so I can get you a accurate price?

The new rotors are kinda garbage as compared to back in the 70's and 80's. Most rotors now are made with recycled metal, and once they warp-which they will, they become junk. If you turn them, they warp again, and usually faster, because you took away surface material, so they heat up faster, but they also cool faster. Thats what warps them. New rotors are fairly inexpensive, and I would recommend replacing them anytime you replace pads.
