leaking right rear axle seal- gc jeep 2005

could the rear axle seal leak be caused / contributed by mechanic when changing brake pads/ rotors in Jeej grand cherokee 2005? How much am I gonna end up paying to have it fixed

Not likely as the axle seal has nothing to do with pads or rotors. repairpal.com estimate in my area puts the repair at $78 to $100 for labor, parts $25 -30. your area may differ.
