Oil changed could be the oil drain plug is not secured properly and lost all the oil causing it to locked-up/blew

TACHed OUT MORE THAN IT COULD HANDLE?

(BLOW UP ON YOU OR THOSE PESKY YOUNGINS?)

OIL PUMP FAILURE--I DO NOT KNOW HOW YOUR PUMP IS DRIVEN. ON A CJ, I ONCE SAW THE "FLAT BLADE SCREWDRIVER LIKE" END OF THE DISTRIBUTOR SHEARED OFF (SOMETHING MUSTA BINDED IN THE PUMP, AND THE CAM ACTION SORT A TWISTED IT AND CHEWED IT OFF)FOUND THIS, WHEN WE THOUGHT WE COULD SALVAGE THE DISTRIBUTOR.

I ALSO SAW A. WELL "SOMEONE" MOSTLY FILL THEIR CRANKCASE WITH STP (THOUGHT IT WOULD CUT DOWN ON SMOKIN', IT ACTUALLY CUT DOWN ON THE ABILITY TO LUBRICATE.

CRACKED OR BROKEN STUFF. EVEN NEW STUFF CAN BE BAD!

FELLER AT THE FACTORY FAILED TO TORQUE SOMETHING (BAD DAY)

I CANNOT TELL YOU ABOUT RECALLS (I'M JUST NOT TO THAT POINT YET!), MAYBE ONE OF THE OTHER GUYS CAN.

WAS THERE A DEATH RATTLE SECONDS/ MINS/ HOURS PRIOR?

Oil light ever come on? What exactly do you mean by "engine blew"? Seized up? Strong battery and good starter but it won't even turn over? Can't turn it by hand?

There was a death rattle, oil light popped on @ same time and it stopped. All in a matter of 5 seconds. Keep in mind my jeep was running fine prior, I did have a water pump replaced four months prior

OH*****. You threw a rod! That changes a few things. Piston skirt could have disintegrated like in my Escort's engine. Or the rod cap/bolts could have disintegrated or broken. These could have been caused by what CJ mentioned. Or what myself or raz mentioned.
