I have a 2005 honda Pilot and the rear blower does not work. I just changed the rear blower resistor and it still does not work. But the blower does come on when I energize it. Also, I accidentally touch the rear blower resistor to the metal frame, when connected, and the blower comes on. What is the problem?
Thanks

Check the rear blower motor screen under the left lower side of the center console. It could be clogged and not allowing air going into the rear blower motor. You can remove the left lower side front access panel to inspect it. If the screen is clogged with dust just remove the 4 screws and remove the screen and wash it. You can test out the rear blower operation at this point with the screen is out. Be caution not to touch the blower motor when is on.

You can use a small pocket flat head screwdriver to remove the A-B panel.
