Had fuel pump in my daughters pontiac grand am replaced a month ago. Since then at least six times it died while she was driving it and have had to have it towed. Don't know what to do!! No one can fix it right and it has so far cost me thousands of dollars and it still does the same thing.

I had one just like that for a GM produced car of that era, a Buick century. Turned out to be an intermittent short in 2 of the fuel injectors, I found it when it acted up and I unplugged #2 injector and it started right up. I then replaced all six injectors with known good and correct size (lbs./hr) from stock. Car ran and passed smog next day.
