My 2005 taurus is running really rough and stalling while it is idyilying in drive. If it is in nutural it wont stall but still runns rough, what could this be?

Check the fuel filter it may need replacing, check also to see if the gas cap is properly tightened. Has any of the dash lights come on like Low Battery?
