There is a squeeling noise coming from the idler pulley. I have replaced the idler pulley and the belt but it still squeels. I sprayed WD40 on the idler pulley at the bolt and it stops for a very short time then squeels.

Are you positive its coming from the idler and not another pulley? I just cant understand why it would still squeel, without the new pulley being faulty too, or the belt being too loose or too tight

Is the pulley assembled right? Maybe you got a washer on backwards or on the wrong side or something?
