November, 17, 2010 AT 10:06 AM
My 2005 Ford Escape Limited is always running short on coolant, but the engine does not overheat, at least the temperature gauge does not show an increase in temperature. Cant find any leakage also. WHAT DO YOU THINK THE PROBLEM IS?

How low will it go?
Either there is a leak internally or externally.
It may be seeking it's level it wants if it is just the reserve dropping some.
How much do you add?
Any unusual smells?
Any white smoke at the tail pipe?

I get to add like 100mls every day.
Its just the reserve thats low,
No unusual smell.
No white smoke
