2005 Dodge Ram Truck Shop Had Fuel Pump Replaced Trucks Runs Fine Gas Gauge

Truck in shop had fuel pump replaced the shop said trucks runs fine but gas gauge doesn't work...worked fine when i brought it in. Any thoughts?

Talk to the shop, I think it is their responsibility. I'm afraid my opinion doesn't count for much. Check that the fuel pump/sending unit connector is plugged in properly. I havent looked at parts to see if sending unit and pump are one assembly?

You may be able to do some testing at the sending unit end of connector? To see if gage will act like it should?
