Blowen gasket

Couple days age water pump went on my truck. Replaced pump and find out thats not only thing wrong with it blew head gasket. Now looking at big repair. Is it better off to just get complete engine

How did you determine it needs head gaskets? That is not common on those engines, even when they overheat. While head gaskets are a fairly involved repair, that is no reason to replace the entire engine. That's like buying new shoes because your socks have holes in them.

Antifreeze came out to the exhuast and wont start.

Wow. That DOES sound like head gaskets but that is surprising. I think I'd be looking closely at the heads to see if one is cracked but that too is not common. You're not just seeing clear water, are you? That is normal and will appear from the drain hole on the bottom, rear of the muffler. Water dripping from the tail pipe is also normal. That is condensation from the byproducts of the catalytic converter. Antifreeze in the exhaust burns off as white steam but of course the engine has to be running. If you fill the coolant and you see green coming out the tail pipe, then I guess it's time to look at the heads and gaskets, but that's still a lot easier repair than replacing the entire engine.

Ill find more asnwers tomorrow when truck gets towed to service. Thanks. Hoping is only the heads that needs attention.
