my van has a p0301 #1cyl misfire code. It has new plugs, wires, coil pack and the software is up to date. the misfire counter on the scan tool only shows a mis when coasting at interstate speeds. no miss is felt.

Hello,

Besides the typical spark plug, wires and coil there could be several other factors that can trigger the P0301 code.
It could be due to an issue with the coil control circuit, fuel issue, injector operation, faulty PCM etc.

Best course of action would be to go thru the trouble shooting steps to look at all the possible causes.

I have attached the complete diagnostic steps for this code below.
Go through these steps as that can help you determine the cause of this problem.

Please let me know if you have any questions.
Thank you.
