When I come to a rolling stop and then accelerate my car shutters like the wheels are stuck or like gears grinding. It has only done this 4 times in the last 3 months. I have never had the transmission flushed. I have been told I need a new wheel bearing would this be the problem or could it be my transmission.

Does it happen more when the car is warmed up? The 4t60 and 4t65 transmissions have a pressure control solinoid that will start to stick with and cause your problem with the sudder. I would recommed to flush the transmission and get the pressure control solinoid replaced.
