Hello, I have a chevy 2005 1.6 automatic transmit ion that takes alot of gas, I checked it on the computer and everything shows its normal, changed air filters gasoline filter and spark plugs and all good, but still the consumption is so high, it takes 55 liters for a full tank and it cross around 320 km only till the light comes on, anybody had this issue before? Is this normal? What could it be? The consumption of fuel is like a four wheel drive car and its only 1.6 engine, ive read that it takes 8 liters for every 100km but thats not true with me at all, any advice would be appreciated, thanks

Fuel consumption problem and engine doesn't stable.

Hello, I have a problem Optra 2007 68000 km, I checked it on the computer and everything shows its normal. The car doesn't respond to the gas pedal. To get rid of this problem the oxygen sensor must be disconnected.
Now I drive the Optra while oxygen sensor is disconnected.
Thanks

Thanks for the video. it sounds like the camshaft actuators are worn out or the engine is low on oil, with dirty/weak oil this will happen. Here is a guide to help walk you though the oil change and a guide so you can see how the actuators work. Also I would clean the throttle bore.

and

and

Please run down these guides and report back.

Thanks for your answer and help. But my investigation it doesn't about sounds of the engine. My question and the problem is about gas pedal trouble. The car doesn't respond to the gas pedal.
To get rid of this problem I must disconnect the oxygen sensor.
Now I drive my car Chevrolet Optra while the oxygen sensor is disconnected.

It sounds like you have a fuel injector that is not working right we can find out which one by pulling the spark plugs out and looking for the one that is black, here is a guide:

https://www.2carpros.com/articles/how-to-change-spark-plugs

Please run down this guide and report back. Please upload images of the plugs and please keep them in order.

Thanks.
I'll replace the spark plug.
The engine of my Optra car works normally with high quality and efficiency. It has high acceleration speed.
But it has only high gasoline consumption trouble.
Best regards

Yes, but how did they look? That will tell us if you have an injector going out. If you don't have the old plugs you can pull the new ones to check the coloring.

All the plugs look good, if anything a little lean so what kind of mileage are you getting and how are you taking it? This can be caused by a timing belt that has slipped one tooth. How does the engine power seem?
