I have a 2005 chevrolet express 3500 with the 6.0 engine. Bank 2 runs extremely rich, if u rev it up the fuel trims drop down to normal levels, but when it idles the st and lt fuel trims max out. Then it starts missing on all the bank 2 cylinders 2, 4, 6, 8. Any ideas?

Hi,

In this case, since it is only one bank that is rich, we need to perform a fuel injection balance test. The fuel injector balance test is a procedure that measures the amount of fuel delivered by each injector. It helps determine if there is an injector, air leak, injector driver concerns, and so on.

This test will require a scan tool that can communicate with and actuate the vehicle's control modules.

If you look at the attached pics below, they provide the directions for a fuel injector balance test.

Let me know if this helps or if you have other questions.

Take care,

Joe
