If I punch the gas petal it wont accelerate over 4,000 RPM, also it shifts really hard. In addition to those concerns when I connected my diagnostic trouble code reader it came back with the code "PO2100".
Could someone please tell me what is going on with my car, why its shifts so freaking hard and wont accelerate over 4000 RPMs, and most importantly WHAT THE HECK DOES THAT CODE MEAN?
If someone could please tell me what that code is and explain it to me ASAP, and if there is any additional insight or advice in regards to what exactly I need to do in order to fix all these concerns and get my 05 chevy cobalt running in tip top shape I would most appreciate it! PLEASE AND THANK YOU!

There is no p02100 code there is a p2101 code which is either a short in wiring, a gas pedal or tps switch on engine or a dirty throttle plate and iac hole which can be cleaned with choke cleaner on both sides.A local pro shold look at this to verify what the problem really is
