how hard is it to change high pressure power steering hose

firestone wanted 400.00 found part for 57.00 only see two bolts on bracket but wraps arround and under engine is it really that hard

yes it is. just because the part is 57 does not mean it is easy to change. where the rack is located is very tight to release the one side. then the pump side and you have to play with it to get it out and the new one in. it pays around 2.5 hours and well worth it.
