I've been experiencing some grinding or more of a grunt type of sound when I turn my steering wheel the sound seems to come from the drivers side front wheel. I've read forums of this sound and they all concluded it to be power steering, but I have power steering fluid at the fill level and the noise is still constant. What could be the cause?

If its not coming from the power steering pump-could be coming from the driveaxle CV joint/boot-

Thanks for your reply, one thing I failed to mention earlier is that it seems the this noise starts when the car has been driven for at least an hour and doesn't do it upon start up. As if it starts after the car has warmed up.

Check the brakes and l/f strut assy. They can develop a grunt. The upper strut mount bearing could be bad. Try to duplacate by bouncing the car up and down.

Okay, I've tried to duplicate the sound with bouncing the car but nothing happens. This sound occurs after I've driven for quite some time over an hour or when I drive over a bumpy road, it seems to continue to occur until it sits for several hours.
