Front seat heater does not appear to work although switch indicates it is on

Check the voltage from the switch to see if it is producing 12+ volts.

probably bad heating element. or thermistor dead. usually heating element wire brakes where it is connected to power feed wire. you can disasemble seat cover and try re-solder connection. you can test element first at plug for resistance.
