How can I drain the transmission oil. Is it a sealed transmission because there is no dipstick? How can I tune up the transmission (Oil and Filter)? What kind of Transmission oil should I use?

Is this a 5 cylinder, 6 cylinder? The 5 cylinder would just be a drain and fill only with Volvo synthetic transmission oil. The 6 cylinder actually has a GM transmission so you can remove the pan to change the oil and filter. The fluid will be Dexron3G or 3H either one. The dipstick on the 5 cylinder engine will be hard to find and hard to check since you could get burn. Move the lower radiator hose around and you will see the dipstick for the transmission down in the front. The 6 cylinder is towards the back next to the torque mount. Once you replace the oil you need to have some one plug in to transmission control module to reset the oil counter. If you do not reset it, the TCM could trigger the transmission service urgent light on with a false trouble code? Hope this helps you out.
