2004 Toyota Camry whining and smell

I have a whining sound when I start the car and then while I'm driving as well as a smell when I turn the defrost or air on, I also have barely anything come out until I turn the air knob almost all the way up, the smell and whining started on Sunday. I don't know what the problem could be

Smells and noises are the 2 hardest things to identify online. Try to follow the whine noise to it's source. Check the power steering fluid first thing. The fluid could have leaked onto the exhaust which would give you both symptoms.
