Car makes a creaking sound when going over speed bumps or even down a drive way.

I just strted hearing this creaking sound and it happens when I go over any size bump or even down my drive way? Its coming from the front end I thought it may be the shocks but I dont know cars so I need help.

You have struts on the front. They can cause a knocking sound but not a creaking. Worn lower control arm bushings are more common. Have the front suspension checked at a tire and alignment shop.
