We have a popping noise in the rear end while we're backing up but it doesnt happen all the time. And sometimes when we turn real sharp, theres like a rubbing noise in the rear. Is it dangerous to drive? And what do you think it may be?

Noise is something we can't help much unless you are able to tell us where it is coming from.

However since noise is intermittent, it should not be anything serious and you can continue driving. Most probably a bolt is not torqued correctly.

As to the rubbing noise, a visual inspection should be able to tell you somethibng. It could be the tires brushing against something nearby.
