2004 Mazda MPV Transmission

The transmission shifts properly and does not slip at all but there is kind of a stutter in it or a kind of buck occasionally. I have read several things that others have posted elsewhere that they had the computer reset or something like that and everything was fine after that. We just acquired this 2004 mpv lx and are very happy with except for that little issue.

Have a trans guy scan for codes it may be a clutch pak going out or valve body problem.

After reading your response, I did some research on the 2 items you mentioned but that doesn't fit the bill. It is not slipping it is shifting properly at correct speed and intervals. It does not jump out of gear and it goes through all gears. It just maybe isn't the tranny.

It cold also be the stator in the torque converter
