I am trying to remove my auto gear shift assembly.
My problem is the 4 main bolts that secure it to the chassis.
2 have bolts(easy to remove) 2 have flat heads and I can't get a spanner or screwdriver on them.
I have the replacement shift assembly and these 2 flat head bolts have a thread.
I would like to know how to remove these bolts please. There doesn't seem to be any access to them just 2
Flat heads.

The flat screws you are talking about more than likely have nuts holding them on the bottom of car see pic.

Thankyou thanks, I have to go underneath the car to remove these bolts. This is a crazy way to do this. I hope they are accessible.
Thanks so much.
