Gearbox fault on Jaguar. S type 2004 auto

When fault warning appears car will not change up. Starts and changes up into top. But at first change down the fault appears and it will not change up past second gear

The trans is in faultmode. Have a trans guy scan it and see if anything is coming up. It can be electrical or an internal problem. Make sure trans is full of fluid though as well.
