EGR valve on 2004 Rodeo

Is there an egr valve on a 2004 rodeo and if so wher is it located. Someone suggested I change it but I am unable to locate it.

We would need to know which engine you have to answer that
3.2 or 3.5?

It should be obvious on the top of the engine.

There is not one there, I replaced one on my 97 with ease in locating it, but with this one I am stumped. Is it possible for it not to have one?
