Some days my radio will work just fine but most days it plays very low and the seat belt chime will not sound. Some days onlyone of the front speaker works right and some days only the rear speakers work right but most days none of them do. When the radio is working correctly the seat belt reminder chime will work properly. When its cool outside in the morning the radio will not work but in the afternoon when its hot inside the car it will start to work right. Is this a problem with the radio or could it be a fuse or wiring problem?

It sounds like you have an intermittent electrical issue. I'm suspecting the radio but I need some information from you first. Do you have an original radio installed in this vehicle or is it aftermarket? Does your steering wheel have buttons for the radio station/volume etc.

The seat belt chime is designed to chime through the driver side door speaker only.

It could still be a wiring issue so I would at least look at the wiring on the electrical connector on the back side of the radio. Look for any loose wires and pull lightly on each wire to check for looseness. If all checks good then I would suspect the radio itself. When the radio is working does the speakers sound clear or fuzzy (FM stations)?

I have checked the wires on the radio and none are loose. The speakers sound clear it just sounds like only the tweets sre working theres no bass when they are not working properly. Do you think replacing the radio would fix this problem. Thanks so much.

When the speakers stop working does the radio display turn off ( station, time) also? If the display stays on I would say the radio is at fault. If the radio display turn off with the speakers then let me know. TY

The radio never stops completely working it still plays all the time but the sound is not right. Its mostly real high pitched with no bass. And it may sound weird but it seems like when its hot outside and it gets hot inside the car it works just fine. But when its cool out side like in the morning or at night after the sun goes down it goes back to sounding weird with no bass. The temperature may have nothing to do with it but thats how it does.

I would replace the radio. Because, what ever the electrical issue is, it is internal to the radio. It effecting most of the speakers and it doesn't look like its wiring to the radio or the display would shut down. Try a new radio. What ever you do don't get a original equipment radio from the dealer get an aftermarket radio. I've seen too many problems with these radios causing a broad spectrum of defects. Hope this helps and let me know if you have any more questions, TY
