How to replace a fly wheel or Flex wheel?

Hello,

In order to replace the Flywheel/Flexplate you will have to remove the tranny.

To remove tranny you will need to remove. Disconnect Battery before starting.

Starter
Rear Drive Shaft(if 4x4 remove front drive shaft also)
Remove Torq Converter Bolts
Transmission Lines
Any Electrical Connections
Transmission Mount and the cross member
Possibly depending on the Exhaust it may need to be dropped from the Exhaust Manifolds.

Once tranny is out of the way the flywheel/flexplate is mounted on the back of the engine. There are at least 5 bolts holding it on.

Would also be helpful to have a Transmission Jack to make removal and install a little easier.
