Guages not functioning

Instrument panel (speedometer & amps) does not function. Sometimes it shows that I'm doing 90 when I'm at a full stop. The amp meter is pegged. What could be the problem? Same vehicle has problem with climate control not functioning. Is this related?

I'd check trouble codes, manufacturer specific as well as generic, before doing anything. The vehicle speed sensor could cause issues with speedometer, could be other issues as well. I'd also want to use a digital multimeter and check your charging system.

If it turns out to be an issue with instrument cluster, your dealership may have to fix it.
